PSWC 2007
The Premier Event in Pharmaceutical Science!

The Pharmaceutical Sciences World Congress will convene in the vibrant city of Amsterdam in just over two months. To date, over 1600 pharmaceutical scientists from academia, industry, regulation and community practice have registered for this momentous event.

The conference continues to expand its mix of activities, offering key note lectures, symposia, poster sessions, round table discussions, special sessions, exhibits and a career forum.

The PSWC will not disappoint. ISPE
The International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology is offering two Pre-PSWC Satellite Courses at the Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky on April 21-22 open to all PSWC participants. The Introductory Course in Pharmacoepidemology is for individuals with some training and/or experience in epidemiology or pharmacoepidemiology (Sunday, April 22) who wish to improve their understanding and methods. The Advanced Topics course will address issues such as Drug Safety Studies During Pregnancy, In-Hospital Drug Safety Studies, Survival Analysis with Repeated Results (Saturday, April 21). Microdialysis
The 5th International Symposium on Microdialysis in Drug Research and Development will be held after the PSWC from April 25-27. The presentations and discussions will focus on current and future applications of the technique, in association with complementary technologies, that will in enhance and accelerate the process of drug development. Monoclonal Antibodies
EAPB and EUFEPS are offering a Post-Satellite workshop (April 26-27) on Monoclonal Antibodies. This will cover current and future challenges associated with this emerging form of therapy, around the design and engineering of monoclonal antibodies, process development (cell line optimisation and down stream processing), analytical, formulation and manufacturing aspects, clinical evaluation and regulatory requirements.
